We all go through life asking the simple but profound questions; Where did we come from? Why are we here? And Where are we going? Well for the next couple of days I would like to focus on just that. To help us as Gods children realize that He has a Great Plan for all of us.
WHERE DID I COME FROM?
The simple but difficult question that I have often asked myself and many of you also have asked before. As I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, that question has been answered. God has a simple and direct Plan that shows us that we lived before this life. And God himself knew each and everyone of us as his spirit children. In the Bible in Jeremiah 1:5 it says, Before i formed thee in the belly i knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb i sanctified thee, and i ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. So from that scripture we learn that God knew each and everyone of us. And he also had a purpose for each and everyone of us before we came into the world and was born.
You might be wondering, Well why if we were with God before this life did we have to come down to earth and be born? Well God is our Father, He loves us all, & He wants us to be like Him. But When we were in His presents before this life, we were different then him. He had a physical body of flesh and bone and we were just spirits. So there needed to be a plan or something that gave us that opportunity to be like Him. So He presented a Plan, The Plan of Happiness to all of us. Jesus Christ, Gods son, was the center of that plan, because it is only through Jesus Christ that we can return to be with our Heavenly Father. So with Gods Plan presented to all of us before this life, we all had to make a choice either to follow Gods Plan or to reject it. With us being here on this earth today, it shows that we accepted His Plan and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Its great to know that God has a Plan for all of us. That we lived with him before this life and he has a purpose for all of us on this earth today. I encourage you all to read this, ponder it over and think about, Why am i here? I will address this topic tomorrow.
